A Wider View
Radio Kootwijk, 2008

The central theme in the exhibition ‘A Wider View’ is the preservation and maintenance of historical landscapes in Europe. The themes are presented over six tables and deal with 30 European landscapes. The topographies presented differ greatly in their development and range from quite old to very new landscapes. Some have evolved over significant periods of time, while others were created more purposefully. The exhibition addresses how Europe approaches the relationship between landscape preservation and development. Also considered are the contributions made by different professions and disciplines. Audio visuals, graphics and panoramic images assist in bringing the discussion to life. Surface area: 500 m2
